Prologue: westcoast adventure
So… here we go again!!! After last year’s adventure deep in the untouched vastness of Namibia, this year brings — let’s call it in terms of population density — a complete contrast program.
Tomorrow we set off from Munich, destination 🇺🇸 Viva Las Vegas 🇺🇸. From there, we’ll hit the road with friends for a three-week road trip across the American West 🤩🤩🤩.
But traveling without a bit of tension? That’s apparently not our style. Last year it was the uncertainty of whether Covid would even let us leave. This year, the suspense starts right at the airport — once again thanks to Covid. With security staff in short supply, arrival and departure have turned into something between chaos and theater.
But honestly… who cares. Vacation starts the moment you leave home.
This time, we’re not flying Eurowings but Finnair — which definitely feels like an upgrade 😂🤙🏼.
So, final things packed, one more night, and tomorrow morning it’s off to Munich.
Takeoff scheduled for 13:00 — next stop: adventure.
