23.08.2022: City of angels
LA — here we come 🤩🤩🤩.
We found a really cool little breakfast spot right by the beach. Fully fueled, we set off into this massive city — cruising along five-lane interstates before slipping into narrow streets on the way to Rodeo Drive.
It’s surreal how one luxury brand lines up seamlessly next to the next 🤪🤪. After a quick stop at the Beverly Hills sign, we continued through the urban canyons of Los Angeles.
Next stop: the Walk of Fame. Packed, buzzing, and full of energy. We wandered along the stars on the sidewalk… until the ladies spotted a very special shop and the shopping fever struck instantly 🤣😂🤣. Naturally, we left with a few extra bags 🫣🤣😂.
From there, we drifted down Melrose Avenue — and, surprise surprise… the bags from the Walk of Fame didn’t stay lonely for long 😂🤣😂🤣.
We ended the evening with sunset at Venice Beach, surrounded by skaters and rollerbladers gliding through the golden light. Once the sun dipped below the horizon, we headed out for dinner — and not long after, completely exhausted, fell straight into bed.
24.08.2022: Boys on tour
After breakfast, the morning split into two worlds — a proper guys’ outing for us, while the girls enjoyed a slow, sunny morning by the pool. Stefan and I headed into Downtown LA for some sightseeing. After stopping at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, we made our way to City Hall and took in the view from the 26th floor — an incredible perspective over the endless sprawl of Los Angeles.
In the afternoon, it was time for a quick shopping sprint at the Citadel Outlets before racing toward Griffith Observatory for sunset. Traffic that evening was brutal, but somehow we made it just in time — grabbing what felt like the last two parking spots and catching that unforgettable view.
As night fell over LA, we stayed a while longer, watching the vast sea of lights stretch endlessly across the city of 15 million. Later, we wrapped up the day with a late dinner at HiHo Burger… what a day in LA 🤩🤩🤩.
